The reason why I am contacting you, is to make you and your clients up and around Queenstown aware that I am here to off-load and move your products. If you have a client out of Queenstown that requires a forklift to off-load or move your products, I can still assist you by transporting my forklift with a roll back truck to the site. I have five Toyota 2.5 ton 7 series forklifts so far in my fleet, four are mainly out on short term rental and come available now and then, however I always keep one at the workshop for small off-load jobs like off-loading these tiles or bricks for a new client. Sometimes we get requests to move machinery and safes for clients as well. The photo's showing you where I am off-loading roof tiles. There were 30 tons of tiles on this truck, 34 pallets. It took me 1h 15 minutes to off-load this truck, a little longer because my client asked me to put the tiles on the pavement as well, which was uneven to drive onto. At the end of the operation only five tiles were damaged, the plastic wrapping had chaffed and some of the tiles were damaged against other tiles in transport. What we charge. Hourly Hire: Around Queenstown with a distance of 3km we charge R250.00 to deliver the machine to the site and collect it from you afterwards. R600.00 per hour, this includes a driver (myself) and fuel. R500.00 per hour including fuel but no driver. (But your driver must have a valid permit to drive a forklift)> For out of Queenstown, where a roll back truck has to be used, depending on the distance that we have to transport the forklift, will determine this extra charge. Daily Hire without a driver and fuel is R600.00 per day. 1st day 2nd Day is R550.00. 3rd Day is R500.00 Weekly Hire without a driver and fuel is R2 000.00 per week. Monthly Hire without a driver and fuel is from R5 000.00 to R6 000.00 this depends on what application and where the forklift will be used. Long Term Hire this rate will be determined on what application and where the forklift will be used. Some forklift hire companies place a limit to the number of hours a forklift can be used a month, we say you can use it, but do not abuse it. Basically for weekly and monthly hire periods, the machine will come to you with a full tank of fuel, when we collect the machine the fuel tank must once again be re-filled at your expense. Any abuse, sabotage to the machine will be at the clients expense. If you hire a forklift from out of Queenstown, just transporting it to you is very costly anything from R4 000.00 upwards. Thus remember we are here in Queenstown with our forklifts waiting for you. So please contact us or give this info to your clients and we will off-load your products that need to be off-loaded. I can also just mention to you here that if we get sufficient work for a rough terrain 4x4 forklift to be used, we will then consider to buy one as well. We also service and maintain forklifts on a daily basis for other clients, even on Saturday and Sundays as well. We can service your forklift after Hours as well, this will prevent you from downtime on your machine during the day. Arrangements have to be made so that we have the correct spares.
