Anchor crates is a company that are specialists in the design & manufacturing of timber products mainly for packing of industrial and domestic cargo. We specialize in the manufacturing and packing of industrial crates and pallets for road, sea and air freight, export industry and warehousing companies. Customized crates and pallets big or small is our speciality. Size of projects we do vary from very big to very small. We have very dedicated staff that strives to be the best at what they do. We are versatile in what we crate, pack and strap. We can crate on our premises but mostly our packing crews do on-site crating/packing and strapping. We go to the client to minimize handling and moving of cargo. Our motto is to give the best possible price and service of highest possible quality. We strive to manufacture products that completely meet our client’s requirements and needs and service delivery. We are committed to deliver service within client’s time frame. Timber is secured from reputable saw mills within the borders of South Africa. Timber used in the manufacturing of crates and pallets destined for exportation are all compliant with the international plant protection control act (IPPC) and the international standard for phytoplankton measure no 15 (ISPM 15) as outlined and regulated by the department of agriculture. Crates and pallets are either delivered completely assembled and ready to use in a sub assembled form or manufactured onsite dependant on logistical parameters. We manufacture solid crates slatted crates and skeleton crates.
The director of the company, Jan Oosthuizen, with vast experience in building, engineering, project management, logistic, crating and industrial packaging will always ensure client satisfactory and is committed to deliver service within client’s timeframe.
We have a very dedicated and experienced crew. Our crew have a lot of crating, engineering, warehousing, project management and logistics experience. Our crew has been exposed to versatility and can crate, pack and strap virtually anything. Onsite packing crews are equipped with valid forklift licences and have a number of years of experience in packing containers. Our crews take pride in what they do and are always ready for any job anywhere, anytime.
