The owner of Bush Clearing Solutions Pieter Mostert grew up in Tzaneen in the Limpopo Province, South Africa. He was exposed from a young age by his father to mechanical machines, repairing and custom building on request.
After finishing with his school career Pieter continued his passion for machines and entered the forestry industry where he built a stable business and fleet but also started to mechanize his operations and develop machinery to increase his production to be more efficient and cost effective.
Growing up in the Lowveld, visiting many commercial game and cattle farms, he took notice about the seriousness of the bush encroachment the farmers were complaining about.
This situation interested him and speaking with various farmers asking them why not using the current mulchers available on the market just to be informed that the disadvantages were to high. Like for instance the soil disturbances, spreading of seeds multiplying the regrowth and making chemical treatment impossible thus making it only a temporary solution and the hand laborer techniques are just too slow and not cost effective.
Due to his experience on machinery he started to develop a cutting machine which can be faster as a mulcher but as effective as a hand team. This process took him nearly 4 years before he was satisfied that this cutting technique have no competition in the market.
